How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP4484666 / WD12X10304 Rack Slide End Cap

Diagnosed using your on-line videos mentioning this problem. Potential solutions were washer replacement under bottom spray arm (replaced that, but did not solve problem). Then figured it might be middle spray arm under upper shelf. Ordered replacement hub and replacement spray arm, plus replacement clips for two older style self roller-end retainer clips broken during removal of upper shelf. Repairs done in about 20 minutes and shelf re-installed using new design retainer clips (MUCH nicer....and will allow future removal without breakage, it appears). Have done four loads of dishes since repair and ALL without noise now. Machine is working GREAT again. Replaced the rollers and the end tabs. I followed the instructional video that is available when you pick a part online. I have rebuilt my dryer, repaired my fridgerattor, and dishwasher with parts / videos from your site. Its so easy if you have some basic tool skills. I appreciate how easy you make it to buy the parts and install. Keep up the great work. 

The wheels were a piece of cake with brand new locks on them. Used a 1/4" nut driver to install the middle spray arm. The end cap snapped into the rack .slide. 

Replaced the wheels and the end caps. Did the job! 

Replaced the rollers on the top rack and replaced the end caps. PIECE OF CAKE and I am an old lady. It feels like I have a new dishwasher. Would recommend that everyone repairs rather than "toss", save the environment. 

Replaced caps with new style end caps. 

Replaced the upper rollers and the rack rollers along with new caps for the slide bars. Everything fit perfectly and it fixed the problem. A bit pricey but cheaper than a new dishwasher plus installation 

Watched your video and followed the instructions to a tee. It took less than 15-minutes to replace all four assemblies.

I thoroughly cleaned the inside of DW and that's when I found the worn parts on the middle and upper arms. Removed the arms to clean out the insides and saw worn pieces. Looked them up on appliance parts pros and $8.98 later, I have a very well functioning 15 y.o. DW once again. I've also used appliance parts pros to help fix my washing machine.
