How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP4412605 / WD12X10278 Roller Axle

Ordered wheels, rail end snaps. A fast and easy install of the replacement parts fixed the problems. 

Replaced them. 

Replaced axle with parts easily ordered from AppliancePartsPros.com. It was easy to pop the old axle out of the wheel, push in the new one and snap to the tray. Although only one was broken, as the dishwasher is 10 years old, all the other ones seemed dried out and ready to crack, so I replaced them all. 

Replaced all roller studs and one roller. 

Installed a Water Filter Head and Tube Assembly 

Replaced with new roller clips 

Ordered new ones and replaced defective parts. 

I ordered the replacement Roller Studs and repaired it in about 5 minutes. I am happy with the results so far. I was not happy with the original studs but the replacement ones are much better. I am glad GE changed them. I believe these will out live the dishwasher. 

Purchased roller studs for all existing wheels and a few replacement rollers for some that were damaged. Also grabbed a new silverware basket because the original had developed some gaps in the bottom which allowed smaller items to extrude very close to the heater/dryer element. Now my wife is again very happy with the unit.
