How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP7215773 / WD21X24901C Dishwasher Main Control Board

Reading posts from others with the same problem, it was clear the control panel was defective. We ordered the recommended replacement, installed it in 10 minutes and it fixed the problem. The dishwasher is back to full working order

Installed control board and reset dishwasher. Works good. 

Searched google and you tube for the same problem I was having. Dishwasher lights flash and get 3 beeps but won’t start. Everyone was replacing their main control board for this problem. I searched your sight for the control board for my GE model number. I’m 71 and a little overweight so laying on the floor was the hardest part for me, lol. Found a you tube video on how to replace. Took me about an hour but I’m not very mechanically inclined. We paid $700 for this unit about 5 years ago so worth the $86 for the part to try and repair myself. Put it in, turned it on and ran a cycle. Working great so far. 

Replaced control board. Door switch checked and indicated ok w/ meter. Had to be the control. The unit would not power up. LEDs were on. Rush to fix prior to Thanksgiving. The part was received as promised. 

A new circuit board fixed the problem. Followed the video. Was very tight but managed to change the board. Connections were difficult to undo, but once that was done, it was easy to reassemble. It is very tight to push back into the cabinet. 

Replace control board. 

I ordered a. New board and after about 20 minutes I had it up and going. Restored the power all my lights lit up and I did a load of dishes. 

When we called a repair company they suggested we get a new one because the combination of the new part and the service call would likely cost more than half the price of a new dishwasher which was over a $1,000. An online search told us how to determine the error code which let us know it was the circuit board. A you tube video showed us how to replace it. So with an $85 part from Appliance Parts Pros which arrived in one day, my 75 yr old husband and I fixed it ourselves and it is working great. 

Purchased a new control board from you and installed it. Watched the video and installed it per the instructions in the video. Works like a champ.
