How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP7215773 / WD21X24901C Dishwasher Main Control Board

I first tried shutting off the breaker for awhile and turned it back on. The dishwasher ran for about a week, maybe 3 more cycles and the problem happened again. I tried cutting the power again, but it did not work. I tried replacing the latch first and it didn't fix the problem. Next, I replaced the electronic control board. Now it works again!

We watched a video on YouTube and ordered the part and it worked like a charm! Fairly easy fix...if you are mechanically inclined like my husband. 

Once I figured out what the issue was, I ordered the control board. It arrived quickly and was packaged well. It didn't take too long to fix and it's up and working now! If you have general repair knowledge and can google it for a video, it saved around $100 for me to do it myself. 

I tried replacing the latch, which seemed to work for a brief period of time. But it eventually stopped working even with latch replacements. App Part Pros suggested control board replacement, which worked! Thanks guys 

Run diagnostics and saw error 805. Bought the part here and I got it in a couple of days. With the help of youtube videos, I was able to change the part in about 20 minutes. All great and wife is happy. 

Came across your videos and comments on what the issue could possibly be and took the plunge and ordered a new control board. It shipped fast and the how-to video made us feel very confident we could replace the control with no problem. We received the part, replaced the control, and it worked!! So very thankful for your site, and to have our dishwasher back up and running!
