How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP3964635 / WH49X10042 Washer Agitator Coupler Kit

I watched a repair video. It was very easy to repair the problem. I took off the agitator to get to the washer agitator coupler. Unscrewed the bolt that was holding the coupler and pulled the coupler off and out of the machine. I cleaned the area that was under the agitator and the agitator coupler and installed the new coupler and bolt which l purchased from appliancepartspros.com. l then installed the agitator onto the coupler. The wash machine works great again. 

Knew I couldn't get a repair person til Monday, ordered parts on Saturday afternoon. Parts arrived Monday afternoon. Fixed it myself & washer up running within 15 minutes of delivery of parts! 

Replaced lid switch 

I found your website and the repair videos were very helpful. I was able to determine I only needed the agitator coupling, not the entire agitator assembly and that saved me a lot of money. My agitator coupling was really stuck on, so I had to use some pullers to remove it. The new coupling was a perfect match and went on very quickly. The washer is working perfectly now. 

Ordered parts on Friday, they were received on Saturday, outstanding service. Followed Utube clip. it took 10 minutes total to do. Super website for appliance parts, install guidelines, price and service. 

Replaced the Agitator and the Coupler. Repair took less than five minutes. The parts arrived within three days of placing the order. 

I realized that the motor was running but that was not actually agitating the clothes in the machine. The first thing I always think of is that I've got to call someone to fix this! Then I calmed down, decided to look on the internet and found Appliace Parts Pros. I was easily able to find out what was wrong. It said if I could hear the motor running then it was probably the agitatior coupler that was stripped and needed replaced. It said to pull out the agitator unity by just pulling up on it, and if I could freely turn the coupler that it was indeed the problem. It did turn freely. Ordered the correct part with confidence through their system. I received the item super quick by Fed Ex. Had it fixed in less than 10 minutes after watching the how to video on their site! Save me a good $100! 

Looked it up on the internet. Followed instructions to determine the problem. Ordered the part, took me 5 minutes to fix! By the way I am a 56 year old female. 

Removed the agitator, replaced the coupling and it's working great! Thanks to the VERY quick delivery of the part!!!! I was only out of a washer for 2 days! 

First I googled and searched the problem. Brought me to a youtube instruction video. Popped off the agitator, unscrewed the coupler; yup there's the problem. Ordered new one, got new one in the mail (very fast delivery!), screwed the new one on, placed agitator back over it, and it works again :) Yeah! Thank goodness for the internet and super fast delivery, saved me at least a $170 on a service call.
