How to Troubleshoot & Replace Lg AP4436407 / 4738ER1002A Tub To Pump Hose

Followed the video and replaced the hose. Easier than I thought. 

Replaced the Tub to Pump Hose. Did not need to remove the washer's front panel and associated parts, but worked thru rear panel and bottom openings to remove and replace hose. 

Followed supplied video. It was just as the video suggested, however, this washer was crammed in a tight closet with little room which made the job go a little longer having to hop over the washer back and forth and needed an extra person on the back side to connect the end of the hose on the back side. Had the washer been out in the open, it would been a much easier job, but that would have required moving out the dryer and taking the doors off. 

Actually it was an easy fix. After disconnecting the electric cable and Cold/Hot water hoses I inclined the washer to its side and was able to replace to hose from the bottom. 

The hose is on the bottom of the washer. I changed it from underneath because everything is right there. You do not have to take anything off the washer if you can get it from the bottom. These things fail about 2yrs. I would buy two and have one for spare. 

Watched the Appliance Parts Pros video on the repair, ordered the parts suggested (plus a few more after getting washer apart). Replaced everything exactly as instructed, and with multiple references back to the video, got it all back together and am happy to let you know that it works great! I changed the water pump and it was ok again. 

Ordered a tube to pump hose and replaced it myself.
