How to Troubleshoot & Replace Lg AP4436407 / 4738ER1002A Tub To Pump Hose

Old pump was draining, but still had consistent drain failure codes. Replaced drain pump and other pump in same assembly as well as both inlet screen filters and the drain hose (to ensure it was not compromised by debris). Replacement video did not exactly match my unit, but was sufficiently informative to cover the difficult parts of disassembly. Needed a 10mm nutdriver to remove the pump assembly platform. Note there are TWO screws associated with the drain cover and front panel attachment as well as another screw at the top of the instrument console that are not discussed in the video. 

First, your company sent the wrong hose. Your company gladly apologized and resent the correct hose. The original packaging had the correct part number but wrong product inside. The install took approximately 5 to 10 minutes. Recommendation is turn the unit on it's side and you can easily remove and install the tub to pump hose clamps. You will also have to remove the center back panel 4 screws. This is by far faster than the video demonstrated on your website. Regards, Bob

Watched the videos on this website and the other reviews and realize pretty quickly what the problem was. Then I ordered the parts from appliance parts pros. And amazingly the parts showed up in under 24 hours. That is ridiculously fast. I was very impressed with the website and with the help that you provided. 

I viewed the video that showed replacing the hose by removing a number of the covers, but I found the problem by pulling the machine away from the wall and typing it back at an approximate 45 degree angle against the wall, so I replaced the hose from the bottom of the machine. The repair was easy and it only took about 15 minutes or less. The best part of the repair was the speed at which Appliance Parts Prows got me the part. I ordered it on a Monday, chose standard shipping and got the part on Wednesday. The old hose appeared to have a manufacturing defect which allowed the hose to develop a small tear in the flex portion of the hose. 

Replaced part, which I got from Appliance Parts Pro, and using the video they provide in an email this was easy.
