I went on-line to Applianceparts pro, entered the model number of our refrigerator then selected the ice maker part. I ordered it on Tuesday, it arrived on Thursday. I removed the old ice maker, installed the new ice maker, pushed the on button then the reset button and we had a working ice maker. It took me less than 30 minutes just using a Philips head screw driver. We had an estimate from a repair service of $380 and a seven day wait for the part and installation. With today's labor and trip charges becoming more expensive, I will look carefully at repairing our appliances myself.
