How to Troubleshoot & Replace Lg AP5959515 / AEQ73130002 Ice Maker Assembly

Ordered the part from Appliance Parts Pros.com. Came quickly. A YouTube video showed us the steps. Easy fix. Thanks. 

Replaced It 

Replaced the ice maker. Cycling old ice maker would only work for one cycle. 

Ordered part from website. Followed video instructions and it was simple!! As a single woman, I was nervous to mess up my freezer but it works!!! 

Replaced ice maker, the how to tutorial was great, I did type ice maker LG on the site and had hard time narrowing it down to my refrigerator but luckily saved the receipt and confirmed number for the correct ice maker there. Mfg had no sticker on the ice maker but they could do better with that.. overall happy making ice again.

I googled the part and compared prices and found this company to have the best prices. They had the exact part that I needed and the repair was very quick and easy. 

I replaced the ice maker and it now makes ice again. 

Ordered a replacement ice maker. The how-to video gave me confidence that I could install it. And it was as easy as the video said. I think it took me about the same amount of time as the running time of the video, about 5 minutes. And then after a few minutes of cooling down time, I had ice again. Saved me however much the cost of having a repair person come out to do it would have been.
