How to Troubleshoot & Replace Lg AP4439448 / 6549W1S011B Turntable Motor (Synchronous)

Determined what the issue was. The shaft on the motor that goes into the rotating ring had become fused together and broke. Ordered a new motor and ring assembly. Replaced both and problem solved. Parts were easy to find and order on your website and arrived in a couple of days. Thank you! 

I ordered a new motor and rotating ring assembly since the originals had "melted", it was an easy remove the motor, and replace... Literally "plug and play" one of the easiest repairs to make..and thanks to Appliance Parts Pros, I got the parts fast and was able to have the microwave back in action in no time. 

Turned unit on side, popped off pre-stamped out door (they must have visioned the motor may be needing a replacement), removed one screw and pulled off connector, installed part, turn door 180 degrees to engage tabs and secure with screw supplied by me. 

Purchased and installed new tub bearing and seals. Decided to replace the tub bolts as well, since I had it apart. Now if I could just find a new outer tub (which the manufacturer has discontinued). Appliance parts pros has a great "how to" video which made it simple! 

Replaced the turntable motor. It was a little more problem than I anticipated because accessing the motor was not quite as simple as literature had indicated. 

Replaced motor for turn table. 

Found a you tube site and it showed you how to replace it. It has a phone number, they guy asked me the make and model and for $26 including postage it arrived in a couple of day. Changed it no problem and by the way I'm a woman so you dont have to be a guy to fix it. 

Looked on you tube and found how to repair Ordered new motor and replaced Unit was 4 years old Cost 21.00 vs new 300.00 

I ordered a new one installed it in less than 20 min. works fine now
