How to Troubleshoot & Replace Lg AP4439448 / 6549W1S011B Turntable Motor (Synchronous)

Replaced the turn-table motor/drive assembly 

Replaced the motor. Required a few panel screws to be removed - but nothing drastic. 

Ordered the part, which was very easy. Received the part that was delivered lightning fast. Took the microwave bottom off, took bad motor off and installed the new one. Plugged in the wire harness, re-installed the base, plugged the microwave in and viola! Runs as new. Easy deal with APPLIANCEPARTSPROS.COM. 

Changed microwave turntable motor and plate spider. 

Following troubleshooting instructions from the owner's manual, I cleaned the components related to the turn table. I had some minor success...turned sometimes, but ultimately stopped totally again. I ordered and replaced the motor for the turntable.....piece of cake! 

Well no Christmas this year a long story but found this kenmore microwave on Facebook for $40.00 BIG ONE I found out the turn table thing and the motor so appliance parts pro had the two parts for the best price on the internet got the parts in really fast put them in and Bam works like a brand new one Thanks Appliance parts pro 

Went on line to see what I would need to fix it. Went to appliance Parts web site and found the diagram of my microwave to find out which parts I needed and ordered them on a Saturday. The parts were delivered on Wednesday. It took approxmatly 15 minutes to repair at a very reasonable cost, which made me very happy as I had lots of Christmas party left overs to reheat. 

Took it apart and found the motor froze up.The microwave still worked so I order a new motor and the part that makes the table turn and put them in.Problem solved!Works great! 

Used model number to look up motor needed. Ordered from AppliancePartsPros online. Had the part in 2 days. Unplug, turn over, pop off cover on bottom. unplug and remove old motor. attach wiring and insert new motor. put cover back on, flip micro back over, plug in, done. Took maybe 10 minutes to do. so... less than $20 + 10 minutes = not buying a new microwave (saved about $140.) 

Turn the MV on side and removed the old motor and installed the new one
