How to Troubleshoot & Replace Lg AP7220429 / 4581EL2002L Roller Kit

We watch the online video here and we also watched a gentleman on youtube because he also showed how to put the dryer back together. Believe me, this is not any easier than fixing the rollers. The videos do not show how to work in a tight space or how difficult it is to remove some screws from the appliance. One suggestion we have is to use machine oil around the top and back of the screw and to apply pressure from the back to loosen the screws. We also had difficulty removing one roller that was stuck. It is kind of complicated putting the dryer belt back on the pulley because videos are reflected at a different angle. All in all, we did pretty good and took about 3 hours to fix because so many of the screws were so tight. 

I watch the video that Appliance Pros had online on how to replace the drum rollers and the belt tensioner and the belt. Decided that I could do it myself. I read reviews that a lot of people were wishing that they had bought factory parts, so that's why I spent a little more money, and I am so glad I did. The job went pretty easy, and it did not take me as long as I thought it would, and now our dryer works like it's brand new. Made my wife happy and that makes me happy. I have bought a few things from Appliance Pros before and have always got quality stuff and I recommend them highly. Thanks 

Watched the video. Made it easy. Replaced all 4 rollers and bearing assemblies. Replaced the belt, too. Just because. I suggest a small, low torque cordless screw gun if you have one. 

Was able to watch a you tube video of the exact model on how to replace the wheel. It was pretty darn easy and only took about an hour. 

When I opened our 12-year-old dryer, the belt around the tumbler was frayed so ordered a new one on a Friday, had the part on Monday and followed the APP video and all was good - or so I thought. But the clunking continued so it was clear that it was a roller. So ordered a new roller (FedEx delivered a day later than FedEx promised), followed the APP video and all is good now. Thanks APP! 

Watched YouTube video to see how dryer came apart and just took it apart 

We replaced all of the rollers. Bought the roller assemblies since we had never done this and were not sure what it would take to remove the shafts of the old ones to re- use. . We followed the video with the exception that our dryer controls are at the back . It took about 90 minutes. Dryer was quiet. In retrospect we could have just ordered the rollers as the shafts are easily removed and ours were not damaged. Have the vacuum ready as it’s a great time to get many years of lint from the inside. Great customer service to help me determine the correct parts! 

Easy job... everything went well 

The main problem was a seized drum roller. But while I had the dryer disassembled I replaced two rollers, the pulley assembly, and the main belt. I followed the instructional video, step by step. It was easy. The entire project took three hours. ( it would have be somewhat quicker, but I vacuumed and cleaned the inside. ) 

Replaced the four rollers that the drum rolls on. Went ahead and replaced the belt and idler pulley while I had it apart. Took about 2 hours. Thanks Appliance Parts Pros for the VERY helpful repair video!
