How to Troubleshoot & Replace Lg AP7220429 / 4581EL2002L Roller Kit

Watched a video and stepped through it. 

I bought four drum support roller assemblies for my LG dryer and followed a repair video I found online. It was a great feeling to know that my dryer is quiet again because I fixed it and that I'm not at the mercy of repairmen. 

Ordering the parts was easy. Simply find the part in a diagram, and chose from the parts displayed on the screen. Must commend that system, can’t say enough good things about it. After getting the drum rollers, it was a simple matter of taking the cover and front face plate off of the dryer (accomplished with just a screw driver), and disconnecting some wires from the control plate (all “push and play” connectors). Removing the bolt and worn out rollers required two wrenches. Then it was an easy reversal, put on new rollers, reconnect the wiring, and screw the faceplate and cover back on. The whole process from start to finish, approximately an hour. Oh, and I took the opportunity to vacuum out the inside of the dryer, and put some HVAC tape where the drum and impeller meet, for a better seal. 

Disassemble the outer shell of dryer took old worn roller out and replace with new roller 

Parts fit perfectly and arrived very quickly. The on line videos were a great help. 

Took apart found that the rollers and pulley was worn out. Replace both parts.. 

Buy watching the very explizit video, which walks you all the way from taking the appliance apart to putting it together. 

Looked at the trouble shooting chart on the site, it recommended I replace the drum rollers. Looked at the video repair on the site, very detailed and was very accurate. It was a easy repair, dryer is as quiet now as it was when I bought it. Thanks.
