How to Troubleshoot & Replace Lg AP7220429 / 4581EL2002L Roller Kit

Ordered the replacement rollers from you. They arrived very quickly. I followed your excellent step be step video and had everything up and running perfectly in an hour and a half 

Disassembled dryer. Removed failed roller and replaced it with the new one. Reassembled the unit and it works perfectly. 

Ordered all 4 rollers and the dryer belt since I might as well replace all while the dryer is taken apart. I looked at some youtube videos and completed the repair on a Saturday morning. Now it is quiet and works well. 

New rollers. Replaced drum belt. 

Replaced drum support rollers 

Took it apart and replaced all four drum rollers. While I had it apart, just for safety sake, replaced the dryer belt and dryer belt idler pulley. Wasn't too much of a job, but then I am an old airplane mechanic. . The whole job including uninstalling the dryer, hauling it over to my shop, repair, cleaning the inside of the dryer, and reinstalling it took just over two hours. (Okay, so I am slow, I like my coffee breaks.) 

Couldn't know which drum roller was the problem, so bought four new ones (plus a new belt for good measure). Followed You Tube instructions and had no problems to speak of - carefully replace screws in reverse order putting parts back together. Cleaned lint from inside tubes and cabinet as part of the job. Biggest problem was disconnecting door switch from electrical harness. Only one drum roller was bad (left front - closest to lint filter/exhaust from drum), but now have four new ones; plus, three spares if one of them fails. 

The Appliance Parts Pros video was absolutely priceless. I am a 68 year old woman, and although my husband helped with the heavy lifting (I.e. removing the drum), I managed the entire repair by myself. The only hitch was after we received the lifter and started the reassembly, we discovered that the drum roller was the culprit. We ordered a drum roller from Appliance Parts Pros without realizing we needed the drum roller assembly which included the axle and plastic clips, and there was no video for that repair. We were able to find directions from another source for that fix, but relied on the APP video to put things back together. It is now delightfully quiet in our laundry room. 

Ordered new rollers and replaced all four. 

We had an appliance repairman to assess the clunking noises in our dryer. He said it was a bad roller and told us he would order the part and come back as soon as it was in. Nearly three weeks and several phone calls later with no response from him, I looked up the part on this site, which confirmed it would fit our dryer, and received the part several days later. My husband disassembled the dryer, and after watching a YouTube video and buying an inexpensive tool he needed, got our dryer purring again in less than a half hour and for less than $30.
