How to Troubleshoot & Replace Lg AP7220429 / 4581EL2002L Roller Kit

Followed AppliancePartsPros step by step procedures an installed. 

I used YouTube along with the info on your website to nail down the parts. Then followed you tube repair for a successful repair. I have before and after videos if you want them. 

I ordered new rollers and axels fromappliancepartspros.com. I watched a movie while repairing the dryer late at night. The dryer is silent now! 

Watched video that the Appliance Parts Pros provided on how to replace drum rollers--replaced all 4 drum support rollers. Dryer is so quiet now I don't even know that it's running. Thanks for providing the video. It wasn't that hard to fix-- just time consuming because you have to take the entire dryer apart to get to the 2 drum rollers behind the drum; the front 2 were easier to access. Took about 1 hr 15 minutes but if you know what your are doing you could probably do it in 45 minutes. Lots of screws and pieces to reassemble so I was constantly watching the video which took time. 

I watched the do it your self video. I then went to work on the dryer by taking it apart. I put all of the screws in a magnetic dish so I would not lose the screws, keeping in mind which screws were different and keeping them separate. Then, I removed all four of the rollers. The four new rollers were bolted back on. I also took pictures of the process so I would not be confused about putting everything back together. I would suggest replacing all four rollers because of the labor involved in taking the dryer apart. While everything was apart, I used my shop vici to vacuum the dryer out. There was quite a bit of lint on the motor and around the igniter. It's a wonder that the machine didn't catch on fire. My LG dryer is ten years old and has had a lot of use. 

Fixing the dryer was easy with the video. I do suggest using zip plastic bags to separate the screws as you remove them from the appliance and write the location and number on the bags. Made life easier when reassembling the appliance. Appliance Parts Pro is the only way to go when doing repairs and getting the parts yiou need 

Followed your suggestions and repair video. Easy peasy. Took longer because of cleaning out lint, dryer a little different model than in video.....and I'm old and slow. 

Although only two were bad, I replaced all four rollers and the belt while I had the entire machine tore apart. The belt probably did not need to be replaced but to help minimize the need to replace it at a later date I replaced it. 

I pulled up your website, sorted through it, viewed the video tutorial, ordered the parts, got the parts in 2 days, took out the bad parts and installed the new parts. Fixed! 

Replaced drum rollers, while there also replaced drum belt. All is well.
