How to Troubleshoot & Replace Lg AP7220429 / 4581EL2002L Roller Kit

I ordered the parts from your site and watched the step by step video witch made it very easy to do. 

I purchased 4 replacement rollers, a new belt, and a new tensioner (probably not needed but I figured if I was going to take everything apart, I might as well replace that too). Generally followed the video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VhfAA25JhFU Couple of things: 1. Many of the screws were in so tight I struggled to get them out with a screw driver alone. Using my drill with a phillips head bit did the trick much more easily! 2. Have a vacuum handy to clean out lint buildup (especially in the duct just past the filter) 3. To replace the rear rollers (according to the video) requires stabilizing the nut behind a metal shield using a 14 mm wrench. Good luck getting to that! Instead, I loosened up the 4 or 5 screws at the back that hold the metal shield in place and made quick work out of it. This requires loosening the bracket holding the heater system to the bottom of the dryer, but it went back together easily enough. 4. Triple check that all of the connections are back in place before you re-assemble! I forgot to connect a sensor, got everything together, and had error messages. Luckily when I took the top back off I spotted the problem immediately. 

First I watched a video on Appliance Parts Pros website to show me how to disassemble the dryer. Once it was disassembled I found 1 roller dragging. I looked up the part number for the wheel and replaced all four wheels and the drive belt. 

Disassembled the dryer and found the breaker was popped on the thermostat. Also the right rear drum bearing was toast. I replaced both rear drum bearings and both thermostats just to be safe. Even though I probably could have just reset the breaker I figured better safe then sorry. This also gave me a good excuse to vacuum out all the lint that was trapped inside the machine and the burner tube. Also cleaned out the vent tube and hose. Now the dryer is running like a scalded dog. Takes very little technical skill to get the job done. Just need patience and to be able to watch the instructional video that walks you through it. 

Watched your video. Great step by step and accurate instructions. Very helpful. Only took 49 minutes. Wife was super happy! 

I replaced one of the drum support rollers. I watched the repair video and it wasn't too hard of a fix. I purchased four rollers not knowing how many were damaged but when I got the dryer open, I only needed to replace one. I returned the other three with no issues. I hope I don't have any other repairs coming up but if I do, I will definitely look to AppliancePartsPros for parts and advice. 

The video showed just how easy it is to fix the dryer without spending a lot of money on a service tech to fix it.. 

We were able to replace the drum rollers for our dryer with the parts that we ordered from your website in the You Tube videos that we reviewed 

Watched the instructional video, which was very detailed, and then proceeded with the repair. I replaced all four drum rollers, only needed one, and the belt just because I had everything exposed. 

After a quick internet search, I determined that the drum roller/s were at fault. I found this web site and watched the very informative video on replacing the rollers. While the rollers can be found cheaper elsewhere, I decided to purchase parts from Appliance Pros because they were original LG parts. Installation was straight forward, however in the video it shows the disconnection of the door lamp stating "just pull it out", when in fact there is a locking tab. Other than this minor issue, the video and the parts were great.
