How to Troubleshoot & Replace Samsung AP4219712 / DE60-20066A Microwave Mounting Bolt

Husband took the microwave apart and added the pieces and we were able to mount our brand new microwave under our new cabinets.

With the delivery of the part quicker than expected, we were thrilled to be able to complete the installation of our new microwave. 

Repair went perfectly! The caged nut were easy to install and the bolts went right in to mount my microwave. 

I ordered the missing parts and mounted the equipment and now it's working nicely again.

I wasn't able to find one locally so I ordered one from APP.com and it came right away and I was able to help my brother and his wife with the installation. I have used AppliancePartsPros.com in the past and they have had the correct parts every time. Thank you. 

Used bolts ordered from appliance parts pros. 

Bought this on sale and it was unboxed so no mounting parts. The bolts fit perfectly. The other bolts for prior microwave looked same but thread count must have been different. If you force the old bolts you will ruin threads in microwave so if the old bolts dont go smoothly into new microwave get proper ones. need to test this before you mount new microwave. the mounting bracket fit the existing tile opening perfectly. minor cabinet mod (chisel some of bottom of existing cabinets allowed the microwave to fit old tile opening. bracket was exact fit for my model. mounting bolt holes needed to be modified and that took the most time.
