Charles D Williamsburg , VA February 08, 2023 Appliance: Samsung Washer WF209ANW/XAA-0000 Washing machine drain pump failure "nd". The water didn't drain after the rinse cycle, unusual noise at that step. The system check indicated a drain pump problem. We ordered the replacement on Friday, it arrived on Sunday. The drain pump is located on the bottom of this Samsung machine, a rectangular hole in the bottom plate provided access - but not much room to work. Needed a magnetic Phillips screwdriver and a 12mm socket and 1/4" drive ratchet to complete the replacement. Wife is happy. Read More... Cheryl R Goffstown , NH January 23, 2023 Appliance: Samsung Washer WF448AAP/XAA-0000 My Samsung washing machine wasn't draining First, I watched a few videos to gain the knowledge and the courage. Then, I took the machine apart, removed the drain pump and determined it wasn't working due to being bound up with sand and minerals from our hard well water throughout the 15 years of use. I replaced it with the shiny new drain pump assembly from AppliancePartsPros.com. I put the machine back together and with my fingers crossed, pressed the start button. Works perfectly! And my husband thinks I'm a ROCK STAR! Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 30-60 minutes Tools: Pliers, Screwdrivers
Anthony C Ronkonkoma , NY December 10, 2022 Appliance: Model WF219ANW/XAA01 Samsung washer would not function acted confused Please note. I never had any codes. First thing I noticed was wet clothes. Tried to spin again but the washer acted confused. Door kept locking then unlocking. Water started going in then would stop. Would start a cycle then sit there for 20 minutes then start to go but stop. Took everything out and saw some water in the tub. At first I thought the main panel must be bad. I tried to check the trap but it was full of water. So I drained the water. Put it on rinse and spin and it was ok until it was time to spin then it flipped out again. Checked and it wasn't draining. Drained it and left the drain hose open and tried to rinse and spin. Worked fine as long as the drain was open and the water could drain. Took the pump out and tested it on my bench. Just hummed. Ordered a pump and put it in and all is fine. We can have clean clothes again. Took me longer than it should and was a bit challenging but that's because I'm almost 72. Read More... Jonathan R Middleborough , MA August 14, 2022 Appliance: Model WF448AAP/XAA 02 Samsung washer 5 beeps failure to drain.. Well, first check the filter under the front cover, make sure there are no wrappers, pieces of paper, or plastic in there (I have kids and they wash the darndest things). If clear and the washier still says it fails to drain, then it's time to replace the drain pump assembly. On the Samsung, the motor is in the front of the washer. It's not a difficult job to do, but you will have to take the top of the washer off (two screws in the back, then push the cover to the rear, unscrew the control panel, and place it on the top of the washer, unclamp the front of the gasket (this is a PERFECT time to replace the gasket if it's moldy and beat up/torn) and push the gasket back into the drum, take the three hoses off the pump assembly and unscrew the two screws holding the pump assembly. it slides back then out - replace the motor (use some light grease or gasket seal when assembling) and reassemble - now you have a working drain pump!!!!
