I analized which part I thought it needed - I copied down the model # and serial number, I called Samsung - they wanted to send a repair person - which would have been a three day wait for them to come. I assumed that after they came, they would order a part, and then it would be another few days before the problem was fixed, so I looked up how to fix the problem, decided I was capable of doing the repair myself, and purchased the part myself from Appliance Parts Pro!
It came the very next day - and I replaced the part without issue. I should tell you the joy I had when telling my husband (who is away this month) that I saved us a whole lot of time and money. And, I would have been visiting the laundromat that very day!
