UNPLUG THE RANGE BEFORE BEGINNING.
1) Opened the back of the range control panel area: just five screws, very easy access.
2) TOOK SEVERAL PICTURES OF THE WIRES BEFORE REMOVING FROM BROKEN CONTROL SWITCH!!!
3) Pulled off knob from front of stove, removed two switch install screws.
4) Gently removed the switch from the range, and removed the wires from the switch.
5) Install the wires on the new switch using the pictures as a reference. Install the switch using the two screws from the old switch.
6) Plug the range back in, and test the control switch.
7) Reinstall the back cover.
Very easy job. Took less than an hour.
