How to Troubleshoot & Replace Samsung AP4337066 / DG44-01002A Top Burner Control For Range, Infinite Switch

I replaced the Infinite switch. I had the same problem last year with the right front burner so I was better prepared this time. It was a very simple repair. I also found a youtube video that went through the entire procedure. If you can handle a screwdriver you can make this repair yourself. 

I had missing segments on the LCD clock display, it was a annoyance but otherwise the stove worked fine. Recently I noticed that my front right burner was getting my food way to hot even when it was set to low. At first I wasn't sure what was happening because it did not do it all the time. It turned out that these Samsung stoves have this problem when the switch that your knob is connected to goes bad. The element would come on and stay on, if your stove starts to act this way you should stop using that burner until you can replace the switch. Be sure to take pictures of the wiring so you won't have any problems hooking the connectors back up. There are several videos on the internet you can watch so that you will help you understand how to disconnect the ribbon cable and other connectors. 

I replaced the main Pcb board and the right and left Infinite switches. 

I described my problem and told appliancepartspros my model#. They hooked me up with the correct part and I installed it and now my stove works perfect again. 

After chatting with Appliance Parts Pros, we ordered infinite switch part replacements. The parts arrived in 3 or 4 days and we were able to install in less than 15 minutes. Easy fix. Originally thought we'd have to buy a new stove. Both burners are working like new now. 

Replaced the pcb main assembly board and the right infinity energy regulator (burner control switch). 

UNPLUG THE RANGE BEFORE BEGINNING. 1) Opened the back of the range control panel area: just five screws, very easy access. 2) TOOK SEVERAL PICTURES OF THE WIRES BEFORE REMOVING FROM BROKEN CONTROL SWITCH!!! 3) Pulled off knob from front of stove, removed two switch install screws. 4) Gently removed the switch from the range, and removed the wires from the switch. 5) Install the wires on the new switch using the pictures as a reference. Install the switch using the two screws from the old switch. 6) Plug the range back in, and test the control switch. 7) Reinstall the back cover. Very easy job. Took less than an hour. 

Found part list and ordered infinite switch 

Replaced heating element switch.
