How to Troubleshoot & Replace Samsung AP4341487 / DA66-00579A Refrigerator Door Handle Shaft

The Appliance Parts Pros Fox it video made it simple. Video was exactly right on what to expect. Took about twenty minutes to complete the repair. Only needed a screwdriver and pliers. 

Replaced the plastic Handle Caps on each end of the handle that hold the handle in place and operated the opening/closing mechanism. Your "How To" videos were GREAT! 

Replaced parts 

I ordered the part and it was the exact OEM replacement. I watched the video which was helpful in changing out the part. Appliance Parts Pros were great and fast shipping. 

After receiving the part, I found I had to dismantle the left side of the handle in order to fix the right side that was broken. When I took the left side of the handle off I found the plastic piece that broke on the right side was about to break on the left side also. Having all the details and in advance of another broken handle, I ordered the part, just to have when it breaks. 

By phone, your company was helpful in identifying the Samsung parts I needed. They arrived in about four days. We took out the broken part and easily replaced the matching parts using the old screws since the rep said there were no screws listed. There was one little part that would not snap in place easily, but with a little maneuvering went in place. In total it took ten minutes and was relatively easy. Thanks for your assistance in making sure I got the correct parts.
