How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6009896 / WP6-918873 Silverware Basket Assembly

Ordered a new basket. It came very quickly. The new basket is way nicer. It splits in to two parts so you have options of where to place it. It also has slotted lids to put the handles through so utensils don't stick together (it keeps them separated). 

Release couple screws around white panel ( door ) inside of dishwasher disconnect old part and put on new parts screw this back and that's it less than 15 minutes 

Order replacement and order was fulfilled in less than 48 hours. Great to have a resource and fantastic service. Website very user friendly. 

Took out the old basket and put in the new one. The colors were not the same but, it's not a big deal. 

Oredered new one 

Put in a new basket. Installed a new doorlatch. 

Received a new one. 

Went on line to AppliancePartsPros.com. Ordered door latch after watching video showing how to fix it. Very helpful. 

Replaced It 

Take old basket out of dishwasher. Put new basket in dishwasher.
