How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6009896 / WP6-918873 Silverware Basket Assembly

I ordered a new one 

Ordered the part from AppliancePartsPros. Part received in two days. Fit perfectly, as expected. 

Re-ordered a replacement. 

Ordered new one. 

The basket fit right into the old space

I found this site on line and so glad I did. I ordered the dishwasher door latch assembly and while I was at it I ordered a new silver wear basket. I watched the diy video that was provided and easy peasy! 11 screws and plugged in the latch and closed it back up. Works like a charm! Price was reasonable and delivery was fast as well. Highly recommend. 

Not much of a repair job. I just replaced the basket from AppliancePartsPros.com with one that was newer and had improved modifications. Great product and service. 

Remove old, replace with new parts. 

Ordered a new basket. The hardest part was figuring out which one to order.
