How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6024331 / WPW10269756 Basket

I replaced the spin basket assembly. There was some wear where the shaft goes through the bearings. I week or so earlier I replaced the two bearings and seal on the rear tub enclosure. They were only part of the problem as the shaft of the spin basket was also worn or had a slight bend. The replacement was complete in about 90 minutes since I was very familiar with what need to be done. What was amazing was that I ordered the part on a Friday afternoon around 4:00 PM EST and the part was delivered Saturday morning. The washer is now as quiet as the day it was new. I know I saved several hundred dollars doing this repair myself. Note: The tub assembly is much easier to remove with two people. There are several Youtube videos to guide along the way. Good luck 

I watched a few you tube videos. Got the part number. Found the best price and ordered it. The part came in 2 days. 

I took my whirlpool duet washer apart according to your videos, I found the basket spindle was broken off the mounting brackets and was floping arround. I searched the Internet for the best price, but found that appliance parts pros was the best price around. The washer purres like a kitten now, thank you for the how to do videos, I will always use appliance parts pros first with my next projects.
