How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6011758 / WP8182119 Bellow Tub Seal

The most time-consuming part was taking the washer apart. Maybe a dozen screws. A lot of the parts just snap on & off. Changing the door seal (boot) was pretty easy. Definitely watch the provided video. The spring clamp was a bit tricky but with a second set of hands went on easily. Overall...worth the time and all the money saved doing it myself. 

Replaced the Bellow Tub Seal. 

I ordered a new bellow tub seal and followed the video from AppliancePartsPros.com. It was not difficult to do with the video!

Ordered part came in mail quickly. Watched a youtube video and was able to complete repair within 40 minutes! 

Watched video from Appliance Parts Pros. Ordered seal which came quickly. Rewatched video - installation went as planned except plastic door trim was removed but not detailed in video. Worked slowly and considered each step before acting. Spring band was hard to do but I followed suggestions and it worked. Purchased parts only from a company that provides a how to do video!
