Bertrand J New Providence , NJ June 21, 2014 Upper auger on kenmore washer skipping resulting in intermittent rotation compared to lower agitator during wash cycle r First, I tried replacing dogs but wear on dog retainer sleeve ( which rotates in lower agitator) allowed dogs to not always engage in agitator teeth. A new Cam-Agit assembly seemed to fix problem. The agitator should also be replaced (quite expensive) for best fix. Read More...
