How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP3138839 / 285825 Agitator Cam (Single)

WITH MY NEW PARTS FROM YOU GUY'S IT WAS A SNAP. THEY WERE AN EXACT FIT. IT WAS NOT A DIFFICULT PROBLEM. JUST HAD TO REMOVE THE OLD PARTS IN ORDER AND INSTALL THE NEW ONES IN THE SAME ORDER. 

Replace agitator dogs.

Called my neighbor over and he fixed it. 

I replaced the agitator dogs. 

Ordered the agitator repair kit , watched the video on the website , easy as can be. 

Replaced agitator dogs and cam agit. Used 1/2 drive extension to loosen cam agit fitting. 

Plastic coupling between motor and gear box was broken 

Replaced it with the part. The machine works great. Super easy. No need to pay $100s!! 

I watched the youtube video of the repair on line. Called on a Sunday afternoon with my model number and actually spoke to a sales person. The kit was sent out on Monday and I received it on Wednesday. WOW!!!! The repair took about 30 minutes from gathering a few tools to putting the tools up. Quick, easy, and everything was the correct part!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
