How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6006884 / WP2260518W Water Filter Cap

The repair went well no problems. This was the second time I used appliancepartspros.com and I would recommend them to anyone. 

Ordered a replacement water filter housing. It came very quickly and was exactly what I needed. It matched perfectly. The repair video was excellent for helping me do the job myself and save money. Thank guys. 

I watched your video on youtube and ordered a new water filter cap. When it arrived, I followed exactly the directions given in the video and within one minute, I had attached the new cap to the old filter, pulled it out, attached the cap to a new filter, and job complete. 

I called Appliance parts pros, talked to customer service, and they knew exactly what I needed. I bought it, they sent it, and in just a few days I had my part. Great service. Just a heads up. I tried to use the website but didn't know the name of the part I needed and didn't get very far. That is when I contacted them, and voila, All is well. I did no repair, just replaced the cover over the filter. 

Watched you video online, ordered from you, package arrived about 36 hours after the order was placed. Then I installed it & things are good again. Loved the great videos & super fast service! 

The bottom drawer of my fridge broke. NOTE: The bottom drawer is called a "meat pan." Do not confuse this with the top drawer which is called a "crisper pan" on this fridge model. Also, the cap for the water filter broke, making it difficult to replace the water filter. Both of these parts were exceedingly easy to replace. You just pull the old one out and put the new one in.

Got a replacement cap. It works fine. I couldn't find the part on the website, but when I called customer service they found it right away and it was the correct part.
