How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP7205486 / W11629974 Ice Level Control Board

Replaced the optic control 

Purchased these parts and easily replaced existing boards with new ones. Corrected problem. I found a video on the site and watch it. Very well done.

Replaced the ice level control board 

I ordered the ice level power control kit and installed the kit in a few minutes. Everything is working fine now. Thank you 

We ordered the ice maker control kit. The first piece we replaced was the receiving circuit board. The ice maker took off as soon as we plugged the refrigerator to power. Now we have a spare sending circuit board if we should need it in the future. This kit saved us a bundle! 

Did a google search, pinpointed the problem, went to the website, found the parts (2 control boards for icemaker), watched the video, ordered the parts, played the video again as I reinstalled the two items, and they went in in 5 minutes. I particularly liked the nifty trick where you scotch tape the icemaker door in the Up position so it stays out of the way! without the video I probably would have broken some stuff. 

Followed directions shown on your website was very easy job and only took about 10 min.
