Jim R Eastlake , OH September 28, 2015 The 747 landing problem The repair was made in part by using a rear Drum bearing, Door Boot seal and Lip Seal kit. The Front Drum bearing a litter larger than the rear bearing and was needed to completely repair with the washer. I also know now why the tech was wearing gloves. You make it look so easy on the videos but after 10+ years of service things are a little harder. Your videos were very helpful. Thank You, Read More... Bill W Chatham , NJ September 06, 2015 Door boot was moldy I recently replaced the door latch and the rubber boot seal. The videos on the website were fantastic. Much easier than anticipated and so glad I did it. One word of caution though. The spring that attached the boot cable is pretty strong and took a couple tries. Might be a good idea to get asecond pair of hands to help. Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 15-30 minutes Tools: Nut Drivers, Pliers
Roger C Wellsville , UT August 23, 2015 Worn and ripped door boot seal broken inner door panel Since I travel for work, I receive constant requests for flight and hotel reviews. I simply don't have the time and energy to respond. However, I must comment on my experience with this company. The parts were easy to identify, and the least expensive too. What really blew me away was the tutorial video that was professionally done, and extremely clear. Without that, it would have taken me hours longer to complete the task, and with provocation for less-than-choice language. Oh, I almost failed to mention that I ordered the parts on Tuesday, received them by Friday, and did the deed on Saturday. Cinch! We even had time to do laundry in time to keep from being tempted to break the sabbath. Life is good! Read More... Dean L Oakfield , WI May 25, 2015 The tub bearings were worn out This was the 2nd time replacing the front and rear bearings in my Maytag washer. It went much easier, since we put antiseize on the bearing housing last time. Still needed a slide hammer to pull the rear though. 3 1/2 hrs start to finish, with 1/2 hr cleaning the tub and inner drum. Could not use updated seal (again) it does not allow the tub to go in all the way into the rear bearing. Reassembly was easy, only 2 tries to attach cable and spring on the boot. Works perfectly and QUIETLY now. Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 2+ hours Tools: Screwdrivers, Socket Set
