How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP3103517 / 4318165 Refrigerator Door Closer Cam Kit

We watched a videos about adjusting the door but also found one on replacing the door cam. We took our door off and found that the cam was completely ground down. This was not that surprising given the weight of what is stored on the door and that is in 15 years old. However I did take time too clean the upper and lower hinge arms and the surrounding areas. The cleaning took more time and was more work then the installation of the repair parts. We replaced the gasket and the door closer kit. They were the exact match for our model. The door was only removed from the fridge for about 30 minutes.
