How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP3094183 / 279570 Door Latch Kit

Ordered the part from Appliance parts pros came in 2 days! Fixed it within a hour or so with the help of the video....the hardest part was the darn pliers nipped my skin! Thanks you saved me a repair call for a $5. part! My labor is free! 

Ordered the appropriate kit which arrived a day early. Took all of 15 min to replace the latch. Dryer runs like new. 

I popped out the old latch and pin and popped in the new ones. It was pretty simple. Snug and working great now. Needed a flat head and some needle nose to get the female part of the latch out of the door. 

I ordered two parts with express shipping, for a total cost of $25. I replaced the thermal fuse and the dryer was fixed! I'm a hero! I followed the instructions in the video and had no problem. I'll keep the door latch kit in case I ever need it. 

I was able to diagnose the problems and buy the correct parts with help on your website. Then I installed the parts per your tech help videos. It went like clockwork and the dryer is working great now! 

I talked to a company rep and gave them my model no. They told me what part would probably fit, I ordered it and it was a perfect fit. 

Watched the video and did exactly what it showed to do. 

Used google to find part on AppliancePartsPros. Part arrived within 2 days. Watched tutorial video. Repair complete in 10 minutes. Total cost $12. If I had used my home warranty service, I would have paid a $75 co-pay so huge savings. My dryer still usable for those two days while I waited for the part, I just used duct tape to hold the door closed. 

Used a small flat screwdriver to remove old latch and threaded the new feet in. 

Took the door apart, removed the old, snapped the new in. Works like a charm.
