How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP3094183 / 279570 Dryer Door Latch Kit

Put the belt repair kit, door handle and door lock clip on. Everything is working great. Video was very helpful even though it was a different model. 

Popped it in. y'all sent a few diff kinds. Two actually work with my dryer! Unbelievably fast shipping too. Thank you!! 

Took needle nose pliers , popped out the old, popped in the new. In this case taking everything apart to pull the latch out would have been a waste of time. Electricity was on. 

Ordered a replacement inlet valve

I removed one from the package and popped it into my dryer door in less than 60 seconds. Just like the video described. Just took the old one out with a screwdriver and put a new one right in with my hand 

I u tubed a video which made it look doable but somewhat problematic. I expected a struggle but turned out a breeze and 3-minute job. My dryer is like new! 

Just asked google door latch for Whirlpool Cabrio dryer and a picture of it popped up from appliancepartspros website and it took me to order page and in 18 hours I had the part, sweet 

I watched a how-to movie provided by you guys and followed direction. Made very easy to repair. 

I watched several YouTube videos on how to replace the latches on the dryer. I finally found one that was specific to my Whirlpool Duet dryer and changed the latches without a complicated removal of the dryer door (3 different types of screw heads and many of them). It was a little bit of a struggle to remove the latch. On the first one, I had an oopsie and dropped the old latch into the frame of the dryer door, unable to recover it. On the second one, I used a smaller needle-nose plier and it went perfectly. Very easy to install the latch, just a little of a challenge to get the old latch out.
