How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6014978 / WPW10096921 Washer Drain Hose

I ordered the replacement part using the guide from this website. Super easy, I was about to purchase a new washer but saved tons of money fixing it.

Replace the broken pipe 

Heavy rains drove a rodent inside which nibbled hoses on Whirlpool washer & GE dishwasher. I found AppliancePartsPros.com online, followed diagrams provided, and ordered parts. Parts arrived sooner than promised except 2 which were on back order. All parts arrived well packaged and as described, fit perfectly, assembled easily, and are functioning well. Replace with a new hose. 

I replaced the drain pump and the drain hose. The machine is working so much better! Don't get the rubber hoses. Get steel braided. Preferably the hose has a 90 degree bend. There are also ones with a safety stop in case the hose breaks. 

Replaced the discharge hose. 

Removed old hose replaced new drain hose. Glad I went with Appliancepartspro got the part to me fast. 

Replaced drain hose. 

The repair was SUPER easy.
