Sanjiv C Metairie , LA February 06, 2017 Whirlpool washer was leaking from bottom Washer was about 7 years old and was leaking from bottom when tub had water in it. The hose from the pump motor to tub had a crack so I replaced it. I also ended up replacing my hot and cold water inlet hoses from the wall to unit as those looked worn as well. Thomas Z Crown Point , IN August 25, 2020 Water leak. Surmised it was a water pump. Watched the videos on repair/replacement and it was simple. Unfortunately I missed the dry newspaper trick until after replacing and after replacing pump and using the trick realized it was the discharge hose. Its all good as I now have a new pump and discharge hose. A side note, I also purchased a center tub seal in the event I need to make that repair. Read More...
