How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6014978 / WPW10096921 Washer Drain Hose

Removed the drain hose. Called the appliance part to order the new one. The customer service is excellent, this was for me the best experience ordered something on line. I will recommend to everyone this service. 

My nephew found where the leak was coming from and got on-line right away and we ordered the Drain Hose from your company. I was only without my washer for 2 days. We ordered the hose on a Sunday afternoon and it was delivered to my door by FedEx the following Tuesday afternoon. My nephew had it fixed within minutes. Temporary fixed it with gorilla tape, dried the pipe off first it got me by until the part came in. When the part came in, I pulled the washer out leaned it back on the wall at a 45, it only took five minutes to swap it out. 

Replaced the pump and new drain hose The new hose was only replaced because I had cut off room much a before wash room remodel 

After receiving replacement hose take off old one and lay side by side. You will see where the new one has been threaded thru the white attachment point- twice. Un-thread or pull that part of the hose out so you just have one part of the hose going thru and your new hose will fit perfectly. 

Replaced discharge house and suspension springs 

After I found the problem. I was able to order the new part
