How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP4242491 / LA-1008 Dryer Rear Roller Kit

Replaced the roller wheels and the studs they mounted too . Works great now . 

Went online to find the parts breakdown. Ordered my parts and they were delivered the next day. 

Used the Dryer Rear Roller Kit. Repair video from AppliancePartsPros.com was excellent, walked me though exactly what was needed to perform the repair. 

I ordered and installed new rollers at the rear of the tube. While I had the drum out, I also replaced the front glides, but they were probably ok. The job is intimidating but, in the end, straight forward. The hardest part is getting the drum back onto the rollers - I did this by leaning inside the drum, lifting it slightly, pushing it towards the back of the machine, and lowering onto the rollers. It popped into place with a gentle turn after getting it started on the roller. 

Took front off with door, took drum and belt off and had access to it all. After everything was apart it was super easy to swap out the parts and everything worked perfect. 

Very quick and easy fix to replace rollers. I replaced the belt while I had everything apart. It was still functioning but beginning to fray. 

Purchased 2 new rollers and installed them myself. 

Purchased replacement belt and drum rollers but unfortunately that did not work. We will now order new blower wheel and replacement clamp. A bit of a guessing game as to root cause of problem. Hard to maneuver and place drum by oneself, unless you have had a lot of practice and/or determination. Videos on this site are very helpful. Will buy again from Appliance Parts Pros and hope next step is successful. 

First of all I ordered the parts on a Friday afternoon and was expecting the parts on Monday. They arrived on Saturday about 1pm. Less than 24 hours?! Wow I was impressed. It was a very easy fix. Took about 25 minutes in total.
