How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6019197 / WPW10308477 Oven Bake Element

It was really easy, just unscrewed two screws, unplugged the old element, then plugged the new one in and put the screws back in. Then done, simple as that. 

While visiting my 76 year old aunt and Dallas Texas she mentioned that her broiler coil for her oven was not working and that she needed to purchase a new oven. I told her to hold off on major purchase let me see if I can find the part on the Internet. It took me less than one minute to find the part on your website. The part arrived in two days. I watched the video prior to installing the part. It took me all of two minutes it took the old part out but the new part / coil in. I am a 53 year old female my occupation is Hospital Administrator with no handy man experience, if I should do it any one can. 

Pulled out the broken one and replaced it with the new one. Very easy & very happy with overall experience.

We had to use a drill to remove the old screws in the old element. I had to use my own screws for the new element. It would be nice if new screws would be supplied with the new element. 

Ordered the part and replace it. 

Followed the tutorial that showed you how to remove the two screws and unplug old and plug in new element. 

My son put in new element I ordered. 

Ordered a new element and replaced the defective element 

We found & ordered the part from Appliancepartspro.com. It came a few days ago however just got it installed today with no problems & it works great!
