Bought the new broiler element from AppliancePartsPros.com, watched a 5 minute Youtube on replacing it, then went to work. One screwdriver, a bit of care with the wires, and in 15 minutes, it was done! Direct from Kitchenaid the part alone was $230 with shipping, and I can't even imagine what the labor would have cost, but for $140 from this site, got the whole thing done. Works great !!! 

Replaced the Broil Element. 

Replaced heating element. Took less than 15 minutes to actually replace the heating element. The repair video was extremely helpful. Gathering tools for the repair along with testing and cleaning up afterward took up most of the 1-hour project time. For tools, used a #2 Philips screwdriver, some scrap wire to anchor the heating element wires during disassembly, needle nose pliers, and an awl to line up the screw holes during re-assembly. Pretty straightforward repair. Made the repair without removing the built-in oven from the wall or removing any panels or doors. 

I ordered a new heating element and my husband replaced it with what I ordered from your website 

I replaced it with a new Broil Element. 

Pulled the element, applied Ohm Meter to test continuity, it failed, went to the computer and found the part on AppliancePartsPros.com, ordered it, hoping it would get here before Christmas, it arrived the next day, exact fit, back in service...WooHoo!!! 

I'm grateful for the folks at AppliancePartsPros. 3 days before a huge Thanksgiving party my client's oven heating element went out. I needed the part the next day. The part was a perfect fit right out of the box. Did not have to remove the oven door, didn’t even remove the racks. A touch of penetrating oil, WD 40, on the screws was helpful. Done in 10 minutes. Baked a delicious chocolate pie afterward, yum!
