This was my first time repairing the double oven that we've used for 11 years. Recently, while the oven was preheating the element burned out--a bright flash and the breaker tripped. I was nervous about attempting the repair if there was something more than just the element. However, I found the part number on the Whirlpool website but found a better price on AppliancePartsPros.com. It arrived in a timely manner and I swapped out the new for the old. Once I turned on the breaker it took some time for the electronic display to return, so I thought there were bigger issues. However, it eventually started working correctly and the oven is working great. Glad that I went outside my comfort zone and performed my own repair.
