I replaced both eyes elements. The repair was easy to complete and I only had to use one of the wire extensions supplied with the new parts where the new limiter wire connections were different from the original parts. This was possible because the changes in connection location allowed the slack given up on one element to provide the extra length needed on the other element (both of them being front elements). The KEY here, as noted in the instructions, was to be absolutely certain of the connection locations on the limiters of the new elements in comparison to the old element locations. This is a drop in range/oven unit and from cutting the silicone seal and removing the top to having it back in place and re-caulked to the counter top was under an hour.
