How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6005519 / WP12656018 End Cap, Pantry (Rh)

Tried to fix the tab but it did not last. Ordered the replacement panty drawer support. A great video on how to do it was on their site and part page. Shipped quickly, and arrived in just a few days. I took out the old part and easily replaced the new part. Took me about 1/2 hr, and I'm no mechanic. 

You sent a rather complicated component to us in a couple of days. Half a dozen screws and some sliding parts. But it turned out to be relatively easy to disassemble that side of the lower fridge and replace the broken one with your complete one. Fit like magic. One broken fridge like new again. Bravo! 

The videos suggested that the Drum Support Roller was bad. As there are 4 of them, I ordered 4. In addition, since I was tearing the entire dryer apart, I ordered an Idler Pulley assembly and a dryer Drum Belt as well. It is incredibly simple to tear the dryer apart ( 20-30 minutes tops). the drum support bolts were really hard to undo and I bent the back bulkhead around the drum roller but was able to straighten it. As it turned out, only 1 support drum roller was bad the other 3 looked ok. But... my dryer is good for another two or three years. The alternative was laying out $800 for a new dryer. I had it with the appliance repairman years ago. if you have a screwdriver and a set of wrenches you can save thousands.

The replacement was easy, thanks to an AppliancePartsPros.com video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yGZ9Eqfl3s4) Mostly straightforward, take things apart and put them together... but the video provided details for a couple of points where I wasn't quite sure. 

I ordered the right-side support and replaced it. I had to watch the video three times. But I got it done all by myself. So proud. 

The little side button broke off and didn't support my pantry lid. I ordered the right-side drawer support. It arrived in two days! I found this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0G8QcWb_2Fw Best Tutorial out there! I fixed my right-side pantry support in 10 minutes! Make sure you have a 1/4" hex screwdriver, this tutorial from YouTube (above) and you will have yours fixed as well! Very easy to do. 

I watched the videos and was able to follow the instructions. I managed to replace both parts and the pantry is now working perfectly! This is the first time I’ve ever repaired a refrigerator and I was able to do it. Thanks to AppliancePartsPros.com for sharing some DYI videos!
