How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6010514 / WP67006524 Water Filter Head And Tube Assembly

Did exactly what the video said and it was a peice of cake. 

Very easy. Watch the video. The hardest part was taking the Styrofoam piece out from behind the refrigerator. 

Replaced water filter head and tube assembly. 

Replaced the water filter head and tube assembly. 

The water filter head failed, perhaps via hard water scale. Easy replacement, however the quick connect water fitting on the water valve failed! The o-ring seems was too old, so retrofitted the o-ring from a donor quick connect fitting. Going to the hardware store to get a donor quick connect fitting added time, otherwise it's a 10 min. job.

Replaced the water filter head and tubes. I watched the online videos and the repair was a snap! 

Was a pretty easy job with the help of your tutorial. Job was done in thirty minutes. 

Replaced the water inlet valve as well as the water filter line unit. Video instructions were very well presented for both repairs. Each piece fits well with the other when redoing the tubing. Highly recommend replacing both parts if you are experiencing any problems with your water filter. Parts were easy to install, took about 30 minutes. All is working great!!
