How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6008281 / WP3387747 Dryer Heating Element

Replaced heating element - resistance check with voltmeter indicated open circuit (i.e. broken wire) 

Went through the troubleshooting in the sheet hidden behind the lower front cover. All test pointed to the heating element. Ordered the element from appliance parts pro, replaced it and have heat again! Two 2/4” head screws under lower front cover. Two more on the support for the heating element. Disconnected the wires at the element pulled it out and pushed the new one in. 

Watched the YouTube video from Appliance Parts Pros after a quick google search to confirm the issue, then ordered a new heating element. 

I ordered the new coil it's here in 2 days 15 minutes later I had installed it and was drying close 

I installed a new dryer heating element. 

Replace the Heating element. 

Replaced the belt, rollers, idler, and the heating element while I was there. 

New heater element 

Ordered part from Your company. 

Took the old heating element off and put the new one which we got from appliance part pros in 2 days and it fixed it. The dryer heats and works better than it has in a long time.
