I had been dealing with an unreliable oven for months! Sometimes it would heat to a temperature near the one I set it to so I’d throw my food in with a wish and a prayer that it would stay hot long enough. It never held and would drop or get super hot. Lots of ruined food during that time. I decided to see if there was something I could do about it without it costing a ton since I’m a renter and I know this was an inexpensive oven to begin with. Lo and behold the igniter arrived and I installed it quick and easy. Test 1: set oven to 350 and wait. Quick as a flash the ready bells dings and the oven is spot on 350. Run the same test again after oven cooled and spot on 350. Celebration baking commences and i get to tell my out of town husband that I fixed the troublesome oven for very little money and he thinks I’m a champion. Victory all around.
