How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6005726 / WP206680 Injector Hose Kit

Easy. wished there was a new clamp on the valve side hose, had to destroy old one on machine to get off 

Replaced injector hose. 

Replaced with hose kit 

Replaced the whole injector hose assembly, due to the age of the washer (20+ years). 

I tried to isolate the water leak but could not find any water sitting on the interior parts. I closed the machine and put in a load of laundry and started the wash cycle. When I saw the water dripping again, I stopped the wash and unplugged the electrical cord, then opened the machine to look in the interior again. This time I saw the water on the inside and determined that it was the water intake line. Appliance Parts Pros had a very good diagram of the washer and determined that it was something they describe as the "injector hose kit". I ordered it and it came in 4 days. I replaced it and the problem was resolved. My wife has done several loads of laundry and there has been no leaks. 

I had replace the injector hose kit a little over a year ago because the original failed it was 22 years old. I used just the injector valve. This fixed the problem. I got the injector hose kit as a backup. 

The injector nozzle was included with the injector hose kit I ordered. So was the air gap and hoses along with a new tub gasket. All I had to do was replace the assembly as a whole and it only took 10 minutes. Now the washer works like new! 

Determined what was leaking, checked allianceparts.com parts catalog, found the whole assembly. Ordered the part on Sunday, delivered on Tuesday. Great service. Thank you.

The leak was in the left rear area... I thought, so I replaced the water inlet part. That was an easy part to put on but it still leaked so we took the front panel off and lifted the top of the washer up then turn the washer on and saw where it was leaking..something to do with vacuum. All the pictures on your site allowed me to see just what part that I needed. It was an easy fix too. Thanks to your videos! By the way, I am a 65yr. young woman. I received the parts in no time. WOW!
