How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6005883 / WP216201 Injector Valve

I replaced an Injector Valve and Sleeve. 

We replaced the Injector Valve. 

Replaced the injector and injector hose. 

Used new Inlet Valve and was lucky the leaking stopped. Could not use Mounting Stem Kit, and of course the Tub Wrench, since the sccrew securing the agitator was frozen in place and head of screw wrecked when trying to remove it. Will need to return the two items. Thank you for great service getting the parts to me and sorry I could not use them. WRS 

The injector valve had a small hole in it. When I took it out I did not see it but after I got the new one I was concern that I got the wrong item but then noticed that I have to remove the hard plastic piece firm the old one and reuse it. It was an easy fix and I ordered siphon break because I saw it was a little wet I am glad I did because it needed to be replaced. Now the washer from 1985 is working as the day I got it, the good old Maytag. 

The injector valve was dry rotted. Ordered a new injector valve and replaced the old one. 

Water was not leaking at water pump but at siphon break. Ordered new siphon break kit and installed, fixed my leak. 

I ordered the injector valve and replaced it thanks to your DYI video, problem solved. 

Replaced the inlet valve rubber sleeve. 

I pulled the front panel to verify where the leak was coming from. I've had this happen once before. Then I removed two screws to tilt the top deck out of the way for access. Thanks to your fast shipping my downtime was only two days; even though it was a holiday weekend! We've had this washer/dryer since 1980 and they are still going strong. There's something to be said about the technology that didn't depend on expensive circuit boards to function. Thank you for stocking parts for my old machines!
