How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6011883 / WP8183270 Door Latch Assembly

I Google the repair process and found your youtube video on how to replace it and went to your website and ordered the part which came in 2 days actually day and a half and with the video, I fixed it by myself. Go girl power. Thanks, guys 

Needed to remove front gasket to get to switch. Reinstalling the spring that holds the gasket in place was the hardest part. 

Replaced door latch assembly, was a very easy fix. The video showed how to perform replacment. The repair took about 10 min to complete, washer has been working fine. 

After I realized the latch & switch was physically broken, I went to the AppliancePartsPros website. Entered the model number and found the part print to ID the part. Simple and convenient and even had a video to watch. That gave me the cinfidence I could repair the washer myself. I will certainly use your company again but hoprfully not in the near distance future. Thank You 

Watched video and repaired. It was easier than video; I didn’t have to remove washer top. I plugged in wire connections first and then screwed latch in. 

I replaced the door latch assembly. It was fairly easy, the toughest part was connecting the wires back in with little room and short wires, but everything worked out great. 

Pulled off the boot and unplugged the old latch, plugged in the new latch. Screwed in the new latch. I then attached the boot and tested. 

Confirmed with "Just Answer" technician that door latch asm was the issue. Bought new door latch asm from Appliance parts pros and followed your "how to repair" video. The video was excellent. I found that I had enough lead length on the plug connections that I did not have to remove the top of the washer as shown in the video. The video was very helpful!! 

I followed the instructions provided by the appliancepartspros.com video. Everything was exactly like the video described. 

I purchased the part from Appliance Parts Pros online. I watched the video that was sent with my order confirmation and was able to take care of replacing the switch very quickly. You guys made it so simple with the easy to follow video.
