How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP5805371 / W10619006 Dishwasher Door Latch Assembly

Put on new door latch assembly. Works great now. Video on web site help. 

I removed the front panel to the door and replaced the door latch assembly. The replacement video at AppliancePartsPros was immensely helpful. 

I could fuss with the door closure and get enough contact to get the machine to run, but I decided to change the door latch switch. Pretty simple, even though the reeplacement switch is a little different than original. most difficult part is re-attaching the door front. 

Ordered the part and watched the repair and install door latch assembly video. It took about 15 minutes to replace the part. Received the new part in less than a week. Highly recommend AppliancePartsPros for parts.
