The Repair:
Installed new Loop-Motor-Service. I followed the on-line YouTube video for the step by step disassembly of the dryer. What took the most time was opening the top of the dryer. Apparently the release clips on my dryer were installed backwards at the factory, so I had to find a way to push them from behind and dislodge them. A little bent sheet metal and a few minor scratches later, the lid was open and I was back in business. The rest of the repair went smoothly, although it took a little more force than I anticipated to free the blower fan from the old motor shaft.
